Simple at homemade mask from your kitchen for sensitive skin

Sensitive skin needs proper care by choosing the right products and ingredients that will not cause irritation to the skin. People with sensitive skin have tendency of getting their skin red easily, therefore, they should always use non-irritant products without perfume and dye in it. Another best way to take care of sensitive skin is by applying home made soothing and hydrating mask. The two mask for sensitive skin are as follow:

1) Nourishing Mask
  • 1/4 banana mashed
  • 2 teaspoon oatmeal powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon aloe vera gel

Take mashed banana and mix in aloe vera gel, honey and then oatmeal powder. It should be of a paste consistency not too dilute but also not too much thick as well. If it is very thick add aloe vera gel according to its desired need. Apply this mask on a clean face and leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes, then rinse it off and pat dry your face.
Why it works: Banana contain many nutrient properties in it that are beneficial for skin such as potassium, vitamin B6, vitamin C, manganese, copper and fiber. All these properties nourishes the skin by providing antioxidants,soothes the skin from inflammation and smoothes out rough texture of the skin.Oatmeal is anti-inflammatory which soothes dry, itchy and sensitive skin. It exfoliates dead dry skin and promotes moisture absorption into the skin. Honey is antibacterial and contains loads of antioxidants that helps fight aging by slowing it down. It also boost the complexion by moisturizing and soothing it to retain its glow. Aloe vera gel has healing properties that combats inflammation of the skin due to having auxin and gibberellins hormone present in it.

2) Soothing Mask
  • 2 or 3 okra
  • 1 teaspoon aloe vera gel

Cut okra into small pieces then put it in the blender add in aloe vera gel and blend it. This mask will be slippery and in dilute form. Take a brush to apply this mask on a clean face and leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes, once it dries out then rinse it off and pat dry your face.
Why it works: Okra has outstanding nourishing nutrients filled in it such as vitamins A, B, C, folate, magnesium, potassium, and iron. It is intensely moisturizing and very calming to skin. As for aloe vera gel it has healing properties that combats inflammation of the skin due to having auxin and gibberellins hormone present in it.
