Hair oil for color treated hair

As women we like to get dolled up depending on the way we feel at the moment. We sometimes try to follow trends that media bombard us with but being smart enough many of us does know how to filter and grasp style statement that suits us and we love it. Ladies we are all guilty of get our hairs processed through various hair styling gadgets, products and getting color treatment done to our hair. There is no harm in experimenting, taking risk and trying out new things but when it comes to hair we must not forget that we also need to look after our hair health as we don't want to lose our hairs. Therefore, below are two hair oil best for color treated and over worked up hair.

1) Nourishing hair oil
  • 2 fresh hibiscus flower
  • 2 tbsp organic henna powder
  • 2 cups edible mustard oil
  • 1/4 cup aloe vera gel
  • 1 lemon
First you need to make a paste by placing hibiscus flower, aloe vera gel and lemon peel in a blender to get it done fast. Next take the a pot fill it with hot boiling water and place a steel bowl or glass boil in it with mustard oil, henna powder and lemon juice then mix in lemon peel and hibiscus paste in it and let it sit for 20 minutes. Apply and massage this oil for 20 minutes to your scalp, hair roots and ends leave it on for 1 hour 45 minutes then take a towel wrap soak it in hot water squeeze out excess water and wrap it over your head cover every inch of your hair and leave it on for 15 minutes. This will help the oil to penetrate deeper into your scalp and will nourish it properly. You can also leave this oil over night and do the towel wrap in the morning before washing your hair. Remember to wash your hair with mild shampoo and conditioner that are paraben and sulphurate free.

Nigella Seeds


2) Super hair tonic
  • 1 cup edible coconut oil
  • 1 cup nigella seed oil
  • 1/4 cup aloe vera gel
  • 2 tbsp beetroot juice
  • 2 tbsp gooseberry powder
First grate the beetroot and take out its juice and blend it with aloe vera gel. Set up a pot with water to boil on the stove and place a steel or glass bowl that contain coconut oil, nigella seed oil and gooseberry powder in it. Let it simmer for 10 minutes then remove from stove and mix in with aloe vera gel and beetroot juice and set it aside for another 10 minutes. Apply and massage this oil on your scalp, hair root and hair end for 20 minutes and leave it on for 2 hours. Wash your hair with mild, paraben and sulphurate free shampoo and conditioner.
